I've looked at them, but didn't think much of the cheap ones.
The Dillon works, but I decided it's not that big a deal to load the tubes by hand, and having a bunch of loaded tubes is probably a safety hazard anyway.
So I just load one at a time as needed. The Dillon primer flipper tray makes it much easier, and I highly recommend it.

Shows how much I know!

I thought that was what the kids and wife were for!

I make them do it before I let them eat on the nights I load on! :)

All kidding aside, I use Wolfe primers, you don't even have to flip them baby's! Put them in the tray and go to it! ;)

Of course, I did enlist the woman of the house as a case feeder for awhile. It was when we were first starting out with a Square Deal B. She would feed the cases and I would seat the bullets and pull the handle. Worked pretty good until I got the XL650.

'Course, now my woman's nickname is stubby! (Fingers, get it?) :D

Good morning
That is what news programs are for or the worthless advertisements during NFL timeouts..
But I figure it takes a minute to load a tube.. I have 10 each for the Dillon. Fill up how ever many I need during the interuptions and go on to the machine when ready.
Yea my boys grew up also... they really were a help.

filler

thanks for all your suggestions i will get more primer tubes the one on the interuptions sound good but does that mean i can only load durring the football season? ha ha bdm

This is slightly off topic, but I got the Dillon unit when they were $200 and it's great. It's nice to just pour the primers in the RF100 and let it fill the tube while you continue to load.
Before that I would load 10 tubes at a time, but I just hated loading the p/u tubes.

The primer strips for the RCBS press looks very interesting, but I've never seen them for sale locally. If I could retrofit my Hornady LNL to take them, I would like to try it. Pecking at primers with the pickup tube strikes me as the most danger part of reloading.

I have two Dillon and two 30-year old RCBS plastic flippers.
The RCBS do a better job of flipping, but the plastic has enough give to bounce primers. The Dillon doesn't flip very well but is is flat and heave and doesn't move.
