Printing, Glock 43 vs model 60

For the last three years I have carried a j frame iwb. I bought a Glock 43 a few months back and finally got a holster for it today. TT gunleather Mike's special. Nice holster. I wear t shirt and jeans in summer work. So I was comparing my holsters and gun combos to see how they print.
My j frame hides a lot better then the Glock. The back of the slide sticks out like a sore thumb. That's one nice thing about a revolver that hides better.

I carry an XDs about same size as a G43, ride height, position and cant adjusted right and it will just about disappear

I find the same to be true. I carry aiwb and find that I can conceal my J frames easier and more comfortably than my G43 under a shirt and shorts. Still doable though

I always had the opposite problem. Have a harder time concealing a revolver. They are bulkier and the grip more than makes up for however little the slide may or may not stick out.

Something to consider. Not all holsters are equal. Even if both are quality. I carry a G19 year round. My Galco King Tuck was great at concealing the gun. You wouldn't know I was carrying unless I tried to touch my toes. I broke it and decided to give a few others a try. Bought the Alien Gear and it prints. Bought the summer special and it's OK. Prints much less but still noticable compared to the King Tuck.

I found the same thing, sold my Glock as it was no easier to conceal and never felt as good in my hands.

Even if you print a little bit, most people are so wrapped up in their day or their cell phones they won't notice.

Choose what you shoot best and you feel will work best when needed, then buy looser fitting clothing to cover your defensive pistol.

Move your holster around on your belt and find the ideal position.

I also find the odd-shaped lumps and curves of a J-frame to be less obvious than the straight lines of a G43.

I'm impressed with how well my 43 conceals OWB in a Blade Tech Total Eclipse ($44 on Amazon). This holster will convert to IWB as well. Slightly larger tee shirt and it seems to conceal fine. But I agree with Erich-the curved, rounded lines of a small revolver seem to blend in more naturally to body shapes than the straight lines of a semi-auto which the eye catches as man made. When you go from J frame size to K/L frame it gets tough for me.

I have similar results with my Kahr CW 9, but it's the butt (the magazine bottom) that prints when I bend over. I wear a t-shirt one size too big and it works well, but a J frame conceals better. The Kahr feels better because it's flatter.

My 642 over my glock 43....9 times outta 10. Rear of glock slide kills the ccw aspect for me. Glock resides full time on the nightstand!

Part f my problem is that I ordered the tt gunleather slim xc with the flat back.
I should of ordered the Mike special because half the profile is in the back. That way my hip would take some of the thickness. Might have to sell this one me order another.

Thinking of glock 42 for ankle, 2 inch bulldog in waist. Now it's 2.5 inch bulldog waist smith 638 ankle and coat pocket. Works okay.
