Another thread, on one of the sub-forums here, prompted me to start what could be a fun(ny) thread. I am sure we all have a gun or two that is just fine as a working gun, but looks like a barrel full of smashed a-holes!
I'd bet that there are many folks here who have a gun or two that's been dropped on the gravel, has the nickel peeling off it, is nicked up, has splotchy blueing, mongrel type guns etc .
I'll tell ya what. The person that posts the ugliest gun (and I don't mean by design, we all know Glocks are ugly! ), I will send a prize.
Not sure what it will be yet, but it will be useful. Here are the rules:
- Post a picture of your ugliest HANDGUN gun here.(It must actually belong to you.)
- I will narrow it down to three contestants, using comments posted by you the forum members. I will than create a poll where all y'all can vote for the ugliest gun.
- That person will receive a gift from me that will have something to do with shooting. Not sure what yet. I will think on it.
So, show us a picture of your worst looking handgun. You know, the one you would NEVER take to the barbecue. Well, at least one you wouldn't carry openly!
Here's mine:
I had to think real hard, as every other gun I have is beautiful (at least to me)! Then I remembered that this "thing" was lurking in the back of the safe. It has "Gun Buy Back Program" written all over it.
A German made, aluminum alloy framed, .25ACP, POS that is not even a good working gun!
