Pro mags

After the magazine ban, I bought a zillion Pro-Mag mags for an assortment of guns. I sold them at gun shows for more than a few years. I did the circuit in my area and saw the same customers at every show. The only return that I ever had was from a guy who bought the wrong mags.

There was an issue with a change in follower style for Ruger mags and a phone call to ProMag got me more than enough followers to retrofit my inventory.

I use them in my High Power at steel plate matches and have never had a problem.

So my experience is that they work. Others may report different results.

Actually they're just a little to long for my taste... I'd probably be happy with just some good reliable 20 rounders...

The ones i tried in my AK were complete garbage. I'm not going to try them in anything else. The S&W mags work too well to deal with the headache.

These are working 100% for me after 3 outings to the range. Midway has them for $12.99

ProMags are 75% 25%. There is a 25% chance they'll work. Out of that there is a 15% chance they'll work for a long time.

I use em quite often for target practice. If you cant get original or milsurp (depending on your firearm) get McGar. They are good to go. In fact McGar is the OEM mag supplier for a lot of gun manufacturers. Beretta, CZ, Witness, to name a few.

Got 2 of the 32 round Pro Mags last week. Put a box of 40 gr round nose CCI Blazers(525 rds) through them tonight. Not one ftf or fte. Mags ran perfect.

Anybody know how well the pro mags run?

ProMag has a variable reputation. I use their mags in a CZ-40P and they function flawlessly. I do remeber experiencing some issues with another pistol many moons ago - the company replaced them with new mags.
