Problem free Bodyguard 380 ???

Check out the new bg380 pancake holster that mccabe's custom leather is making. .
Nice looking work, but what I found on the site is IWB, which I am not a fan of:(. But thanks for the information.
Look at his blog link and it shows the pancake holster for the bg380 or call or email him about it.

Well after about 2 weeks of waiting I got the BG back from S&W

I ended up getting 4 total mags and a new wrench for the laser adjustments

Old # was EAA51xx New number is a EAB75xx

I am going out this weekend to pt about 200 rounds in her and see how it holds up. I'll let ya guys know

Laser feels much better also. turns right on and right off

100 rounds so far no problems

Just got mine, SN EAB-62XX. I put 100 rounds of Win FMJ and had no problems at all. About 500 dry fires with snap caps, and everything seems good.

Made it to the range again with mine today, over 750 rounds so far and it is still holding together.Got lucky and found extra magazines at a local gun shop a couple of days ago so I guess it will be good to go for the time being.

100 trouble free rounds on a replacement BodyGuard 380. Original (EAA6xxx) had major locking pin problem. After two months at S&W for 2 separate returns, they replaced it. Their word is good even if it takes awhile. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with the new frame which has a stronger lock pin spring and a deeper indent in the pin to retain the spring.

:)

I have 500 rounds thru mine...no problems except laser activation..laser was hard to turn on...problem is the button material..take them off and rub the buttons between your fingers and simply replace them..works for me

Is rubbing the laser buttons through your fingers a temp fix or a permanent one? I used BG380LEO's fix. I substituted his Q-tip tube with an ink tube from a ball point pen. Works great. I think it's a permanent fix.

I bought a Bodyguard 380 today. my S/N range is EAE2XXX. got it and a 50 round box of blazer brass for $496 after tax and fees. it was tough taking the BG over the M&P compact. the gun store was selling the M&P for $499 with free night sights. I went with what I thought would be the easiest pick up and carry gun. over the last couple years Ive tried various sizes from G19, G26, keltec P3AT, XD9sc, Bersa Thunder 380, Sigma, S&W 12-4 and Bodyguard 38. out of those I only have the 12-4 left, and I dont carry it often. I think this BG380 is the carry answer Ive been looking for.

Ive seen McCabes holsters and they are nice. anyone have info on more holsters? anything available from crossbreed, don hume, or anyone else?

I contacted Crossbreed about a holster for it. They as of now do not have one to offer. they are waiting for a mock up gun to size it off of from the Email I got

You can always pocket carry the BG..

300 rounds through mine

Just wanted to pop on and say (I've posted in serveral threads now about how much I love my bg) i've dumbed 300 rounds through this thing and the only problem I ever had was with Colt ammo...it just got stuck for some reason? So don't buy colt, other than that this gun has been a real sweetheart and makes me feel safe while its in my pocket!

Got mine last week,about 300rds no problems,great shooting pistol serial # eab16xx
