Problem solved maybe

I was having issues with my 9c. I was shooting low and right. I adjusted the sights and then was putting them on target ok but was having vertical stringing of the shots. We adjusted the sights a wee bit more. And I took it to the range and at 15 yards point of aim put a nice fist sized group on target. Could it be I just needed a bit more time getting used to this gun. Ive never shot one with the type of trigger the m&ps have. Im going to give it a couple more range trips and see how it goes. This pistol now gets a second chance with me. Wish me luck Ill run some more ammo and dry fire to get her more broke in. Have a good one everyone.

I found that changing the grips helped my grouping. I like the small grips the best for feel but find I shoot better with the medium grips... So, the medium grips are what I use now.

It seems that many of the striker-fired polymer guns have people initially shooting low and left (or low and right if you are a southpaw). It takes a bit to get used to it and for me I was pushing the trigger and not pulling straight back. It should be something that you can work on, primarily with some dry-fire exercises, and you'll be grouping better in no time.

I actually started shooting Glocks and had the same thing happen. I got it straightened out and then moved to the M&P and had the same problem. Different triggers will do that to you and just working it with some dryfire practice will help tons.

Happened to me the first time I ever fired an M&P. I have no problems with a 1911 or a double action revolver. The combination of the two pulls found in a striker fired gun was the issue. More practice and concentrating on the front sight took care of the problem.
