So I was cleaning my 686 saturday night, and I took out the screw just below the cylinder so I could get the cylinder out and clean it well. So I got it all shiny and put the cylinder back and the screw....however, now the cylinder locks up after one turn and it won't fire. All I did was take out the screw that holds in the cylinder.
I don't know if the screw broke off in there or what....What a mess. I'm guessing I can take it to a local gunsmith and have it repaired instead of sending it back to Smith??
Please let me know what y'all think,
Ryan Z.
