Problem with S&W 2206

I am having an issue with a S&W 2206 I got last fall. It fired CCI high Velocity ammo with no problems (over 100 rounds.) I got it out for my grand kids to shoot for the first time today and after the first shot it was all over. It did not eject the spent casing and did not ramp up the next round when I tried to manually load it. I see when there is no mag in it everything fits together fine but when I put the mag in it raises the back of the slide enough to keep it from functioning properly. Here are some pics if anyone can help the young-uns and I out.

Now we have to go shooting again tomorrow.
