Any one had/have this problem?

Shot a few rounds out of the box. Within 30 rds it jammed all the time then blew the extractor off the rifle.

Got it back from S&W. But now I get a number of "no-fires". Out of 100 rds, 4 will fail. There is a very light mark in the rim of the rd. (The round will then fire in my 10/22)

Played with all kinds of ammo. Federal 550 in the red/blue box seem to work fine.

Winchester, Winchester XP, Remington (gold), Remington Thunderbolts, all give me "no-fires". But, they all fire in my 10/22.

Send it back? Or just stick with Federal ammo?

Thanks, Joe

I had some thing like this happen once ( the light mark on the round) turns out a shell made its way back into the trigger area and the hammer couldnt close all the way

I currently have a bulk box of Remington golden that I fired about 150 rounds out of with my Ruger MKII pistol. Out of those 150 at least 10 didn't fire. Might just be luck of the draw on what batch of bullets you get.

Sounds to me like ur head spacing is off slightly... the part they replaced on ur gun sets the head spacing on a 15-22 pretty much if it didn't mate up to ur barrel just right the round may sit alittle deeper in the chamber not allowin firing pin to strike completely.. fedrals usally have a thicker rim. Which would explain them firing and not the win. Id give s&w a call.. u can also fix this by filing a small amount off the firing pis positive stop

IMO Remington golden bullets are complete crap. The only rifles that I've found that they will consistently feed in are tube fed, and even then, I get about a 10% failure to fire, regardless of the firearm.
