I hope that the Admin will keep my thread here for reference!!!
I just updated the gunsmithing section on the update of my warranty work. A little background on the situation. Bought a new gun and barrel canted to the left and sights were off. Shipped it back to SW to fix barrel and sights. Just finished talking to SW Rep on live chat and I ask what the update on my model 60. He came back with the gunsmith didn't like what he saw when he opened up the revolver and the rep said the gunsmith replaced the Barrel, trigger, hammer and the rebound. The gun is on it's way to the mail room for process. Now, I'm glad I didn't take it to the range to shoot it like one of the SW reps said to do. The Moral of this story, if you don't think something is right with your revolver and it is under warranty send it back to SW to get fixed, it might be like mine and multiple things were wrong or if you have a gunsmith you like take it to him and let him look at it.
