Procuring sights

Looking for a set of night sights for a 4013TSW anybody have a spot or old stock sitting around?

My Son will be 21 soon and I am putting together a TSW for him for his Bday (he loved my shorty 40 I had him shoot years ago) shot it fantastically.

You might also look around on Ebay. There are several manufacturers there. Apparently, the Trigicon brand for the 4013 has been discontinued.

If it has tritium sights on it now you may be able to have them re-lamped.

Are the dovetail cuts the same across the smaller frame 3rd gens? I know they are different from the 10/45s....

Maybe get away with a set for a 5906 or 6906?

I thought they were the same. Perhaps someone at S&W or one of the vendors, like XSSights could tell you for sure.

I have these dimensions written in the margin of my armorers manual.....these are what I believe to be the dimensions on the S&W 3rd gen dovetails:

front dovetail (width/angle) .250" - 74°
rear dovetail (width/angle) .435" - 74°

S&W parts list says 6906 and 4013TSW take the same front and rear sights.

You might try DMing member Guzzitaco. He does a lot of work on these and I'm sure he would know where to go for some sights.
