John, I invite you to come over to my house and try my XL650. I'll put on a pot of coffee, we'll go over a couple of tips and tricks and then I'll turn you loose on my machine.
Significant cost? Yah, sure.
Significant time changing calibers? Not at all.
Complicated to use? Uh, no.
More press than any one man needs? Absolutely!
The sheer pleasure in operating such a finely tuned, well-made machine? Priceless!![]()
I did an extensive review, comparison, personal evaluation, etc. in December when I decided to upgrade from my Lee turret to a full progressive. At the end of the day, the LNL best met my requirements for what I am currently reloading and any future reloading plans for new calibers. It took the better part of a year to convince myself that I needed a progressive at all, but you know what they say about money burning a hole in your pocket

Thanks for the visit offer, but I think the travel logistics between Columbus (C-bus?) and San Diego make that a no go. I did have a chance to evaluate the Dillons and Hornady in person prior to purchasing.
