I know this is a 15-22 board but I always find it interesting to see what other people are spending their time and hard earned money on. So here is a few of my most recent projects.. well here is one ill try and get the other pics to post later. But this is a custom built encore with all new to my spec internals and a MGM custom 300 blackout barrel and my Form 1 suppressor. Its been a fun project and for those of you have not heard of a 300blk google it at the 2012 shot show going on right now.. The other project is a Mk III I built for my son who is 10 months old it has his name as the model and birth date as the serial number

oh and the 300blk can be chambered in an AR-15 with nothing more than a barrel swap... not upper just the barrel. Its a 556 case cut down and reneck to 308.

Nice little project you've got there. Have you been able to shoot it yet. Looks like it would be a great varmit gun. I saw a guy teaching his young son with the 300 Whisper in AR platform. Looked like little to no recoil. I've also seen the 300Blk in full auto suppressed. That looked very addicting and expensive.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! :D

Nice! I really want to build an SPR AR15 upper with 300AAC, but don't have any funds. :(

So instead, I have just been messing around on my boring 5.56 AR15. The best thing that came from it was my custom handstop made out of a Magpul RVG that I cut down. You would not believe how comfortable it is to shoot this rifle now.

They are junk cell phone pics. I actually did round off all of the edges with sandpaper, inside and out. Not a sharp corner or edge anywhere on it. I didn't want it catching in my rifle bag.

BA looking fun Belt Fed..i would take that over a lot of ARs. About that 300 blackout, how are the ballistics? I'm guessing it it a slower bullet and perfect for that sup... What was it that made you choose the round?

Nice tac light ragingyeti i have the same one it has the strobe on it .thats my favorite feature...:D:D:D:D

For $30 for the light and $10 for the mount, you can't beat it. It is brighter than some weapon lights, cheaper than all weapon lights, and holds up to the 5.56 recoil just fine. I love the strobe, too, but none of my friends like it when I point it at them (off of the gun of course).

Well to be honest I'm waiting on Sbr paperwork for a 9" upper but I wanted something silly quiet that had more knock down or at least the same knock down as subsonic pistol rounds like the 45acp but the ability to shoot 1/2MOA at the same time.. this gun does that with cheap components. Most of my brass i cut down and reformed from 556 brass that a friend gave me. So I'm loading 175gr match loads for 16 cents around.

For those interested a standard ar-15 can be converted for as little as 160 for a barrel and 450 for a complete upper they feed out of standard mags and use the same bolt and carrier. And for those of you that like it quiet and light the cartridges were designed to be used with a 9" barrel so a suppressor can be used with a 8" barrel with no problems. Try that with a 556 and you will be picking up the pieces of your can. Yhm says a minimum of 11.5 on their cans on 556

Ergo already makes something like that only better. I have used the Ergo in competition and it works well.

Ive still got some polishing to do but this is a Ruger MKIII that started life as a 4" model bull barrel gun. Now its a Form 1 integrally suppressed "staple gun" lol.. This project bares my 10 month olds initials as the model # and his birthdate as the serial #... it has been a fun project and gets a crazy amount of attention.

I hope you guys like it. I know it aint the first integral MKIII but its the first that I know of that has been ported, reflexed, and monocored all. lol. and shoots any ammo subsonic. It was set up around federal bulk ammo and it pops those like candy at 800 fps. Stingers are just under the sound barrier for alittle more knock down but who cares when its this quiet.
