Snagged an M&P10 today. It will be here next week.
Now I need some extra mags.
Looks Like I can buy all the P-Mags I want for about $40.00 each.
Found these ProMag 20 rounders at Cabelas. Cabela's: ProMag™ .308 20-Round Magazine They are attractive because I have Cabelas points I could use to purchase several of them, costing me nothing out of pocket.
Are the ProMags worth messing with?

that says they are SR-25 compatible which is what the M&P 10 takes. I haven't tried them myself but i would expect them to work.

Was going to order a few things from Cabela's anyway, so I threw two of the .308 ProMags on the order.
Should have both the gun and mags here next week.
Now to find some Ammo!

I bought a ProMag as I'm waiting for the Magpul prices to drop. The follower on the one I got was canted and would not hold just a single round. 2 or 3 rounds ok--fed with dummies until the extraction of the next to the last round and then upon extraction and before the bolt returns the last round would pop free. Returned it and got another --the follower is not canted but I still have the same problem. Gave it to a friend that has a Bushmaster 308 for him to try -- should find out tomorrow.
Did they work for you?

I wouldnt trust ProMags for anything. They've been consistently bad for a loooong time. When i get them in trades I like to use em as targets

Pmag prices are dropping fast. Last gunshow I saw a large box with prices marked $75/$50/$25 , all crossed out and selling for $12.50
