I too am glad you are coming along well, getting rid of the bag and assorted paraphernalia is a big step. Twenty years ago I was in the hospital for almost a week and on the catheter for a month and because I was up in Canada removed my own catheter using the method supplied to me by my doctor, trust me once you begin the removal you do not want to chicken out, do or die and it werent pretty. Best of luck in your recovery and I wish you a diminishing PSA, the antigen will stay in your system for a couple months depending how high it was upon removal. I started with a 25 (I was only 53 at the time) and was in single digits within a month and by six months was at 0.0 where I have remained for twenty years+.
