While I may need a permit to speak at some gathering show me where I need any kind of permit to walk up to someone in a public place and tell someone I believe in free speech and permitless carry.

I think I know a big part of your belief that most people need a permit. You have spend a lot of time as a LEO in New Mexico,where the average IQ is estimated to be just 95 the lowest in the whole nation, while I have spend most of my life in a state with an average of 101.1. I can therefore understand your concern.

Why? I never said one word about biku324s intelligence. In fact, although I believe he is wrong on this issue, I consider him to be an intelligent man. I was simply pointing out that he has been exposed to a lot of less than average intelligence in his law enforcement career.

Many years ago, I lived in Montana for awhile and in North Carolina for awhile. I have traveled the US pretty extensively on the roads over the decades. In my assessment, stupidity is pretty equally distributed on a per capita basis.
