I reloaded some of this tonight. I had never loaded any of it before, but it seems to be all right. This brass seems to be a little thicker than most, like the old military .38spl brass I used to load years ago. Sized in a modern Lee carbide sizer die and loaded with a .358 cast bullet it exhibits the classic wasp waist look recommended by Elmer Kieth for the .44mag with cast bullets. Loaded rounds seem to chamber properly in my M65-5, but I haven't fired any, or reloaded them more than once. Anyone had any experience with this brass? I just wondered since I am a little suspect of non USA components. I will post my results from further use of this brass.

There was a lengthy post similar to this about two weeks ago. Good brass, but it is thicker; probably not a good idea to mix it with other brass if you're interested in best accuracy. I wouldn't put up with the wasp-waisted profile, but it probably won't hurt anything other than looking bad.

I have not used Prvi .38 Special brass, but I have used Prvi .38 S&W brass. It is also definitely thicker than R-P and W-W brass in this caliber. It works fine in my S&W Victory and a Colt Police Positive. I wouldn't hesitate to use Prvi .38 Special brass. Revolver brass usually fails with case neck splits, which means it's time to toss it.

As far as using foreign components, I've used bullets, brass, powder, and primers from Brazil, Italy, Czech Republic, Israel, Finland, Sweden, Mexico, Russia, and Bosnia-Herzegovenia. I've never had problems with any of them or with American components.

I have never used Prvi brass for handgun reloads, but have done so many times with their rifle brass { .30-06, 8 MM Mauser, 6.5X 55 Swede } and never had an issue with any of it. Not always, but sometimes priced a little cheaper, but for me, the quality is there...I'm happy !

It's good brass.

I'll tell you some really good brass I've found is headstamped CBC. I'm pretty sure it was from Magtech brand ammunition which is also goos stuff.
