Pulling someone else's reloads

Weighing the cartridges wouldn't be a sure thing. a bullet itself can sometimes be 1 or 2 grains light or heavy . What if they are max loads, and the tolerances happen to not be in your favor would 2 to 4 grains more powder make a significant difference? can you say kaboom?
Does anyone make a rifle or carbine or field artillery in 500 S&W? There's your excuse to buy a new gun.

They are not max loads. Hornady did still manufacture loads using standard Pistol Primers and some are still on the shelves. The problem stems from the fact that when S&W/Corbon decided to make the switch not all ammo manufacturers decided to comply because it was just a precautionary warning to reloaders.

I agree with Vartarg but if you decide to reload the cases, and since he did use LMPP, you still need to ascertain which primers to use.

O.K., not sure what the max charge is with Titegroup for that round, but that's not a forgiving powder. Yes, I'd pull em, same with the other loads. Now if they were mid range Unique loads I may do something different.

I would pull them all. Salvage the cases, & bullets. Toss the powder unless you are confident of the powder. I would take the bullets out a bit with a kinetic and then pull the bullets with a collet puller. Cheap in the long run.
