I have been using it in my Lawn Equipment, my son's and grandson's dirt bike. And back when I rode motorcycles for years.

All the major motorcycle manufacturers recommend it. Most major lawn care Manufactors do as well.

I used to have to go way out of my way, about 10 miles off the beaten path. To purchase it and have to carry a 5 gallon racing gas container and a couple more 1 and 2 gallon containers and stock up. Just kind'a a hassle.

But today, I noticed an old gas station up the street that closed a few years ago, they are changing out the giant inground fuel tanks and remodeling the building. And a BIG sign, Coming soon. PURE Gas Staion. It's only about a mile and a half from the house.

I know it's more expensive, but it's the only thing I'll use in my small engines, PERIOD! And I might start using in my own vehicles. I only run 93 octane in all my vehicles, except my beater Toyota Camry. I know I will have to pay more to fill up, with non ethanol. But I've never been a fan of Kroger or Mapco's gas. And I now only use Shell gas. Because the one closest to me. Has three separate nozzles, one for each grade. I don't like using one single nozzle to pump gas. Because for the first few gallons, you really don't know what grade your getting? That the previous customers were buying? And if im paying for premium, I want 100% premium. Since I'm paying for it. I'm picky!!

Does anyone else use Non Ethanol gas, In their small engines or vehicles? And is making a come back?

There is a station around here that sells pure non-ethanol, would love to use it but to far out of my way. People I know that have used it say it's the real deal?
Way past time for the ethanol to go away or at least have it as an option! ;)

Pure Gas

I would check it out a little more carefully. You do know that there is a Pure Gas Company that sells the same garbage as all the other stations. The Pure sign may have nothing to do with pure gas.

Nope, all the Pure Stations in our area sell Non Ethanol gas. Some also offer ethanol gas, but in a separate pump at regular gas prices. Like stated, I've been dealing with non ethanol gas for about 15 years. And the big sign and logo are all the same on the NEW location. I've never seen a Pure Gas station (in our area) that didn't sell non ethanol other than at specific pumps. The one I currently go to offers ethanol gas, but only one grade. REGULAR grade.

That all I will use in my 15 Corvette, boat, ATV any 2 stroke tool or toy I own.(Its 91 octane)

For years it was not available but about 3 years ago it showed up again, It was .30 per gallon more than the 93 octane E. type gas and I had to go 20 miles out of my way to get it, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.

Now about 1/2 of the stations around the lake I live on have it year around and the closest station is now only 5 miles!:D

Non Ethanol

Use it in my lawnmower, haven't had any issues with the carburetor gumming up for two winters. Put some in my 05 GT Mustang. Didn't seem to run any faster or better but got about 3 mpg. better gas mileage.

That's why we use it in our small engines. I've delt with way two many gummed and corroded motorcycle carbs. Bought a late model Honda XR 70, 6-7 years ago, that didn't run. Knew it was a carb issue, it was getting plenty of spark. Took the carb apart and the jets and needles were gone, nothing but white powder and all the jet tubes were gone. Completely eat up, from ethanol gas setting for years in the carb. I replaced the carb and petcock, it was the best running XR 70 we've ever owned.

How much more per gallon is it then ethanol? Around my area it is about 30 cent's more.

Must be a Tennessee thing, in Florida they sell only regular gas if you go by the description and prices on the marquee. They may have a pure gas pump, but if they do, they never show it on their signs.

After scoring the cylinders in a chain saw and leaf blower with that ethanol trash. I use only non ethanol in all my small engines.

Ethanol gas should be done away with completely. Making fuel at a barely better than break even energy cost is STUPID.

Yeah, in a conversation with an agent, and other information, although they do not offer a credit card, one station here sells pure gas. I like paying at the pump but will buy a can when needed for my new chainsaw. I might be mistaken but I believe they are required to place a notice when they do not sell pure gas. The station PURE I don't visit but we have a couple around and I will check. LIBERTY stations are close at hand so it isn't a problem for me. :)

:DEver see em unload it? Hint: It all comes off one truck pulling a single tanker.

I'm with you on the non ethanol. That's all I'll put in anything but a daily driver. I've had my fill of cleaning furniture finish out of carburetors.

I live within a couple miles of a lake. We have a small gas station nearby that only sells non ethanol gas and during the summer it's especially busy with all the boats and jet skis filling up. It's all I've run in small engines for years now. I have an old Weedeater brand trimmer that is over 25 years old and nothing has ever been done to it and the carb has never been opened up. I credit this to the fuel. It still runs but the compression is really low. Just replaced it with a brand new Stihl and expect to get the same or better life out of it.

The ethanol fuel isn't too bad on modern engines that are run often. Most manufacturers have switched over to materials that the ethanol won't eat up like it used to but if you leave one sitting around very long with it in the carb it will gum it up. Actually it's the ethanol absorbing moisture out of the air that causes the problem.

The one way away from me is also near the lake. I guess boaters also must has to have it? Good idea. Every time I go there, I have to wait in line, because of the long long lines of boaters and lawn care guys fueling up.
