I've heard the term before and read it here on The Forum. I have no idea of the meaning. Can someone please fill me in. Thanks in advamce.

I think it has to do with a worn single action sear on revolvers. If you can cock your hammer and then push on it and it lets off, you have push off. Can also happen if someone who didn't know what they were doing did a trigger job for ya and rounded off the sear.
