PX4 Storm?

I'm a Beretta fan. When the PX4 came out I was excited to look at the Compact as a concealed carry as it was "smaller" than my 92 Compacts.

When I got my hands on one..... it felt "fat" in my hand, and I didn't feel like I had a good grip on the gun!

That said I trust E Langdon's judgement and recomendations..... He was responsible for me getting my first 92 Elite II.

I'd look at his upgrades including grip texturing and the G decocker only....... from the video it looks like he textured/stippled the grip. I've done this with several 3rd Gen Smiths..... easy and effective!

A no brainer. Your 15 is obviously well used but has a lot of life left in it. If you can rid your self of the old beater Colt in exchange for the Beretta jump at the chance.

I'm my opinion they are two very different guns. So I would ask what you like to do with your guns?

If you only shoot occasionally, the S&W is a beaut... That said, if you enjoy shooting a lot, the PX4 is awesome and fun. I have a PX4 .40S&W Type C. Never had malfunction and there have been many rounds sent down range by many different people.

My advice, for what is worth, keep the Smith and get a PX4...

A good friend of mine is a retired LEO who shot almost exclusively many different handguns issued in .40 S&W after it became the new flavor in US Law Enforcement agencies. Although he was never issued a PX4, he says that it is *the* most comfortable .40 cal pistol he ever shot. Since you can buy one so cheap, I would keep the S&W revolver and if you want a PX4, try one and see how you like it.

On a semi-related subject, I think I would like to have a "Storm Trooper" :-) 9mm CX4 Storm carbine that uses Beretta 92 magazines. I think it would make a great plinker if I ever run across one cheap. I just missed one that was selling for $400 :-[

If you must trade, look at the prices of sold 15’s and sold PX4’s on the big auction sight. 15’s are worth more. If the trade didn’t include cash, I definitely would t do it.
