Sadly, it seems a few of the American gun makers have gone down hill a lot in the last 10 years or so. I have had issues with new guns from Remington and with my M&P C. Smith did do a nice job with the trigger on my M&P for no charge (I sent it in because the dots in the night sites came out). But, they replaced them with sights that were expired or defective, you could barely see them in a totally dark room from 1 inch away...

Also had a new Kahr that was defective. They did send me a new one that has worked great since.

I really do try to buy American when I can, but I wish the companies would do some better QC. Or maybe I am just 'lucky' enough to always get the one out of 100k items that falls through the cracks.
