OK guys what are these? Stumbled upon some magazines supposedly 4006 11 rd 40S&W, but what are they really? Center mag in pictures along with a 4006/11 rd and a 5906/15 rd mag.

Black follower unmarked base, unmarked 2-piece shell. Single sided mag release, no bump at top (not like 4006 S&W), dimple in both sides. Said to have come out of Brinks Florida in masse when Brinks abandoned the 4046 & 5946.

Goes into a 5946 perfectly - though I have not tried any 9mm in it yet (just received today).

I have not tried them in my 4006, but seller tried multiple examples with 4 rds each in 4006 and they work fine - have not tested round count but looks more like a 10 rd 40S&W except for the missing bump.

The one in the second pic, upper left, is a 40 S&W magazine (see the bump on the front of the mag?)
That bump is there to make it so it will not fit in a standard production 9mm pistol frame, as there is a channel in a 40S&W pistol's gripframe that it fits into.
(Unfortunately this gets jumbled up as the PC made their autos (9mm and 40 S&W) on the 40S&W frame, so that confuses things a bit.)

All the others are 9mm mags.

Thanks for reply - I know what the outside mags are (5906 Orange Follower) and (4006 Blue Follower) and I understand the bump as it relates to 4006/4046.

Perhaps I mis-asked my question - I am trying to determine pedigree of center mag with black follower, no bump, and odd dimples which is claimed to be a 4006 11rd mag (and fits and fires 40S&W in a 4006 (per seller) but also fits into a 5946 (have not tried 9mm cartridges yet).

OP's mag is a 10 rounder by the dimple in the side limiting capacity. Looks just like my 4006 Pro Mags without logo on baseplate.

OK - thanks - I agree it appears to be an unmarked ProMag - I had never seen the ProMag and did not realize there was an aftermarket mag for 4006. Do you think it was an attempt to make a dual purpose 40/9 mag - that might explain why Brinks had them as they had both 4046 and 5946 - but personally the last thing I would want is a dual caliber mag - though Sig P226 40 mags also tale 357 Sig.

One other odd thing - I understand they should be 10 rd 40 SW mags based on comparing indentation to a SW 4006/10rd but one only holds 8 rds and the other 9. - and I know you have to pretty much force the 10th rd in a SW 10 rd mag, but you CAN NOT get 10 rds in either of the 2 I now have. Disassembled and filthy inside with weak springs - so hard to figure out. Also no ProMag logo on base. - going in my junk drawer.
