Since cokes are so sought after, popular, in demand and lets not forget expensive long past the point of being reasonable does anyone offer replica ones??? Or maybe something close that feels the same?? Thanks in advance for any info.

Iggy-

you're right about both. I asked Kurac a while back about the checkering and he said he was working towards that end. I hope so, 'cause his grips are awesome.
Kurac's on my 25-7-

Thanks for the info guys....how exactly do I get in contact with this "Kurac"????

I have 2 sets of K frames & 2 sets of N frames from Kurac. They are indeed works of art. I had a set of the Eagles. Not bad for a production made grip, but no where near the quality of Kurac's grips. Of course I dislike checkering anyway.

You can do a search for his name here on the forum, or keep watching the sales forums for one of his ads.

Nill, a German company, makes a fantastic replica of cokes. You can get them either as square butts or round/square conversions. They ain't cheap, however, costing about $250 per set. I have a set on my Model 66, totally historically inaccurate, I know, but they're just too cool.

Well I ordered today 2 pairs of cokes from "Kurac." I looked at all the above mentioned and while any of them would probably do, I really like what I see in the pictures as far as the actual shape of the Kurac's. Checkering is no problem for me and I intend to checker them both with the correct looking pattern. It will be close as I have a good friend near that has an original set on his 29 I can take a rub from. Thanks again for all the good info guys.

Kurac posted 3 sets for sale in the Accessories FS section early this morning. 2 of them are already sold. They don't last long so they must be awesome.

Yep...that is the two that I bought. Probably should have gotten all three. They really look nice. Weren't the originals black walnut??? These are coco bolo.
