Hey all,
I've had my eye on the Crimson Trace™ LG-660 laser site for my S&W M&P .45.
I've the ambidextrous thumb safety on this model, but a trip to the gun smith will take care of that.
My question is this; Seeing that the CT is a replacement for the backstrap, what would it be comparable to size wise for the S/M/L backstraps that come with the weapon?
The small grip feels best to me, and how the gun feels will always be more important than some laser site. The medium backstraps, which I've heard are closer to the CT size, are just not as comfortable to me as the small.
I'm not so wild about having anything attached to the equipment rail, not only is it cumbersome and raises holster issues, but no matter how hard I torque down on the flashlight I have for this gun, it manages to creep its way down the rail after 10 or so rounds.
Do they make laser sites for the spring slide that are activated when the trigger 'safety' is pulled for the M&P? Thoughts on those?
What do you CT owners think?
Thanks in advance,
NgNl
