So I bought a new 686+ 2.5 snub on Dec 19th. The FFL address on file wasn’t updated and it had to be signed for. The fellow wasn’t home anyway.. they sent it back to selling dealer. It’s not quite there yet. Long story short is it’s NOT going to make it here by 12/31. In the fine print the date the rebate looks like it says it has to be transferred before 2025. I can’t call SW cause they’re on holiday till the 2nd. You think a phone call would help me get my 100.00 rebate? This deal wasn’t my fault.. sucks.
I bought my XVR 460 online and did my rebate online. I just read the small print and if I’m NOT mistaken, the quote I’ve posted below from S&W’s fine print says if purchased online, the purchase date must fall before Dec 31st, but filling out the rebate form online gives you until Jan 31st since you waited on the transfer. The process online is simple. Take a pic/scan your invoice and take a pic of the UPC label on the box and submit. Hope I’m correct. Best of luck.
