I now use the BK adapters and have them on two of my guns. They fit as well or better than the Tylers, are cheaper and you get them in less than a week's time. I don't concern myself w/the slight blemish on the grip.
Installing is simple. Loosen the grip screw and pull the wood grip slightly away from the metal frame on the backstrap. The copper tabs on the grip adapter fit over the metal frame (DO NOT bend them over the frame) and you just tighten the grips back in place.
