Question about large lapel pin

I received a S&W lapel pin in its original packaging from an estate. It is nicely done in enamel and 1 1/2 inch in diameter. I have not seen this style for sale in the last 30-some years, so I figure that it is older.

Can anyone shed light on the production period of this?

I don't have my copies handy. but I know it's in the S&W factory accessory catalogs, circa 1990-2000 era. Ed.

I have seen both for sale at the factory in the early 2000's. Not much value, maybe $10.00 each.

I bought the small one on the left side for a couple of bucks about 15 or 20 years ago, together with the blue plastic gun cases that were about $6.

They will remain in the family.
