Okay so it isn't a S&W but I'm sure people here have experience mounting scopes/rails and such.
I'm happy with the way my pic. rail mounted on my Ruger 10-22. Though 1 out of the 4 screw holes are stripped (I can use a bigger screw/re tap this one with no issue.). It gets lose from time to time after say shooting for a long period of time. Is there anything besides blue locate I can use on the screw threads? I'm looking for something a little less extreme for removal would something like Rubber Cement/model Glue/Clear Nail polish brushed lightly on the screws be easier to remove(If I had to.) yet stay snug while shooting? Or would I need to use a soldering iron to heat the screws up either way.
Looking for an adhesive that would do it's job, but wouldn't require excessive heating to remove the screws from the receiver. Thanks all
Thanks guys.
