Question on Performance Center upgrade pkg

I’m new to the S&W forum site. Although I carried S&W models on the job for many years (Model 65, Model, 66, Model 19), I never transitioned to S&W semi autos or striker-fired models as the LE agencies I worked for issued Sig Sauers. That said, I will be “pulling the trigger” on an M&P, 2.0, 10mm model in the near future. I’ve narrowed my choice down to the 4.6” model or the 4” Carry Comp version, as it will likely work its way into my EDC rotation. My question concerns the Performance Center upgrade (included on the 4” Comp model), but not included on the 4.6” version. I would appreciate your opinions on the improvements that accompany the Perf. Ctr. version. If I do opt for the non-Perf. Ctr. 4.6” model, I am considering dropping it off at S&W & having them add the PC upgrade pkg. Their web page stated it will include “Polish the ramp & hood, Tuned action, Perf. Ctr. sear”. For $120, the price isn’t my concern, just curious how impactful those additions are. Would there be significant improvement in trigger action?

I've no experience with the 10mm M&P. However, based upon 20 years experience with other M&Ps, the polish on the hood (why?) and ramp aren't necessary-at least with other versions. Sounds like catering to the buying public. The action tune and different sear might well be worth whatever they'd charge to just do that. Significant improvement???? Dunno, but the quoted price is less than the amount of ammo needed to deburr various parts by normal wear.
