Question on Range Glasses for Eyewear Users

Does the Polycarbonite lenses in prescription glasses count as adequate eye protection in competitions or do I still need something to go over them?

In addition to the polycarbonate lenses in my prescription glasses I also have some industrial slip on side shields that I use at the range to protect from debris from the side. They're kind of clunky and I don't use them in matches (only one shooter at a time). But they're good at the range.
