I'm being offered pre-war M&P in the 640,000 range. It has a 4 inch barrel, factory nickel finish with about 98% remaining, correct prewar grips. It comes with a battered box (maroon in color) but the serial number written on the box does not match. The seller is asking $600.

Is this a reasonable price?

Could be, but hard to guestimate sight unseen. Detailed pics would be most helpful..........

Not bad if truly 98% and the grips match.
You can sell the box of you don't care to keep it, since it is not the orig, for $50-100, and be in the gun that much less.
