Question Regarding Replacement Barrels

I am contemplating the purchase of a M&P 40c. I know that you can purchase replacement barrels in 9mm and 357 sig for this gun. I see that Midway USA carries factory barrels and ones from Storm Lake. As far as factory barrels, I only see the 4" offered. If I get the 40c, with its 3.5" barrel, I would want the same length in replacement barrels. Can the 3.5" factory barrels be purchased directly from Smith? How easily? And at what cost? Is Storm Lake the only option for the 3.5" length?

Thanks for the response. I don't see a compact 357 sig barrel offered on the midway sight. Can that be purchased directly from S&W or another source? It would be great to purchase the M&P 40c and turn it into a 3 caliber pistol....40 S&W, 357 Sig and 9mm. I sure like the factory barrel prices I see on Midways sight vs. the Storm Lake barrel prices.

Also note that you will need 9mm mags with the 9m barrel. Unless you don't mind leaving the last round of every mag unfired. Dealer's choice.
