I sent my M&P 15 back to S&W for a fail-to-feed problem about 10 days ago. 1) Will S&W let me know what they found wrong with it when they send it back and 2) since someone needs to sign for it will they let me know it's on it's way back home?

My own experience with my M&P pistol was yes, there was a brief report on what was fixed. That report was enclosed with the returned pistol.

No, there was no advanced notice that the firearm was being returned. Fed-Ex just showed up with it and I signed for it.

At your time frame of ten days, you may expect the gun to be coming back this week, perhaps, based on S&W's prompt service.

Thank you Sir!

Itching to put a trigger spring kit and new grip on it but want to test it first to make sure it's fixed before I mod. it. Thanks again.

Got a call early this AM from FedEx, they have a delivery for me that requires a sig. It will be delivered before noon. Only thing I'm expecting is the M&P 15. Pretty good service if that's it.
