Hi all!
Have been lurking the forums the past few weeks, JUST picked up my new 10-22.
It's the standard version, with open sights and the flash hider.
I have a quick question. I noticed that on the MOE version, that the hand guard seems to have some kind of an attachment on it (see the pic below)
As I am in the process of swapping out my grips, stock, etc (and plan on going from Black to TAN), does anyone know if these are rail attachments or what? Or if I can get something similar?

I don't really wanna replace the hand guard with an AR conversion right now, even though I know how to thanks to TactiCool. (If I can avoid this). So, does anyone know where I can get these little strips? Or should I just paint the hand guard.
Thanks again y'all!

Paint the handguard. If it doesnt work well. There are a few of us that have extra old hamdguards

Since it's magpul furniture that's the brand I'd stick with. I learned that not everyone's FDE is exactly the same. Yes they are just a touch off from each other and then some are way off. There is a difference in FDE, tan, scorched earth or whatever all the different brands use for color labeling. Just a friendly heads up.

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. Sometimes these pics online are a little off for the color.
