A little off topic for this forum but need a quick answer and some of the members here seem to have extensive knowledge. My quesion is about firearm transfer. A relative who lives in Idaho plans on selling a firearm (pistol) to a gentalman in Wyoming. Law states that transfering of firearms between Idaho and bordering states is legal. But I have been under the impression that no matter where you live, if you ship a firearm it must go through an ffl. Is this so or am I missing something? Also buyer wants to cod the shipment. Does that change anything? Thanks in advance for the help.
