are they still selling them with the plastic cases or do they sell them with a box?? im picking my new sigma up on sunday and was just wondering this.

A year ago I bought a Sigma 40 cal. = Blue plastic box
A month ago I bought a Sigma 9mm = Blue cardboard box

I get a laugh out of the way people post a "quick" question. Are we to read it quick or respond to it quick? :D
Anyway, when I bought my 1st Sigma I was hoping to get the plastic case but it was cardboard. :(

A box now, although I dont care about the plastic case id expect the price to reflect the fact that it is now sent in a box. Come on S&W stop being so cheap

i just wanted the case to transport it in thats all.. well thats a bummer. i was hoping for a plastic case

Hi, i couldnt figure out how to make my own post.won't work on my smart phone. Can any one help with older sw9f jamming on the last round?

jamming

On my SW40F i just bought, the gun would jam with the last 3 rounds. Changed mag spring and no more jams.

I think my sigma40ve was $275, I can't say that I expect any extras at that price. Cardboard, yes, but I was pleasantly surprised by the extra mag. Pay the $10 for a plastic case. Your still under $300. I just keep mine in a cheap nylon holster. Did the trigger job myself with an outer sear spring from U Plumbit.

The plastic case was/is GREAT for transport!

Just to piggyback on the OP thread, I'm I right to assume that the M&P also come in the cardboard box as well?

Mag springs

On my SW40F i just bought, the gun would jam with on the last 3 rounds. Changed mag spring and no more jams.

Can I get new mag springs at any gun shop or must those be ordered from the dealer?

i actually found a plano box for 8 bucks at my local gun store for transporting. pretty cool box with a slot for 2 magazines.

I just bought a 9MM and no case...was disappointed, was expecting one. Not sure when they stopped. I still am learning to shoot the darn thing...I see alot of threads about the sigma shooting left and low. I have done some checking and next time I go to the range I will be trying a few things differently...enjoy the gun.

I very rarely use the Blue box for storage or transporting my handguns. I bought a couple of large 4 gun Plano boxes from wally world for something like $10-$12 each.

Heck, when I go to the range I generally carry several pistols with me because I’m never satisfied with shooting just one or two.

I ended up buying a case from walmart too...I like it, has pouches so it holds 4 mags and has two pockets. 10.00 bucks I couldnt be happier..
