What does the law say about this situation?
Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Actually, as confusing as this will sound, I'm all 3. I'm registered to vote as a demo because I want to vote in local elections around here. Often the outcome is decided in a primary. On national issues I always vote republican, well, just because. And my hearts with the rednecks, because I'm one.

And a self respecting redneck in these times of ammo shortages wouldn't waste ammo using a pea shooter. More like "BOOM" once, maybe twice. None of this little bang crap.

In my case, fiscal, social and cultural conservative
1. Carry a revolver, don't waste those brass cases.
2. Carry a revolver, it's "traditional".
3. Carry a revolver with a steel frame-"traditional".
4. Of course it's a US made revolver with US made ammunition.
