How long will it take for S&W to evaluate a return due to racking issues I have experienced after being stuck from pressing web of hand on safety while attempting to field strip to clean?
I had the gun for only two days but do not feel comfortable shooting it until told no issues.

Don't know if this applies but I sent a gun in to Smith for a potential warranty issue a few months ago. They evaluated it and told me that it was not something that they were going to cover and sent it back. Took about a month/five weeks for the entire transaction. Of course, they did nothing to mine. The time frame might be different if they end up doing work on it.

What is this supposed to mean? At least explain this and tell us what the gun is instead of just leaving it to us to infer! S&W has a lot of models!

OP posted this on 8/18. No way to tell if this is the firearm with the undefinable problem he mentions.


Can anyone recommend a red dot sight for the M&P 2.0 9mm EZ performance center? I have a Galloway Precision mount I would like to use it with if possible.
