Radio silence.

Welcome back Sir ! Sorry ,I haven't been following along on here lately, we've been away visiting with our newest little family member down in North Carolina for a couple of weeks. Very happy to read that you're recovering well.

Rusty wanted me to share this with y'all.

"I met with the surgeon post-op.
She unpacked a steamer trunk of happiness on me.
She got ALL of the tumor. She analyzed my urine and there are no signs of pancreatic juices which means the sutures in my stick of butter are holding and my catheter comes out tomorrow. She took out my nasal gastric tube as my stomach is clear.
She is taking me off the morphine pump as I am using it less and less and replacing it with low dosage oxy.
She put me back on insulin, my sleep meds and a liquid diet. She also prescribed chewing gum as it is good at restoring stomach and bowel activity.
She also said it is uncommon for a patient to undergo recovery as I have.

Ruthie drove an hour and 20 minutes home just to get my tablet.

We both wept for joy."

He should be online in a few hours!
I hope for your sake when they pulled out the nasal tube it hurt a whole lot less than it did when the male nurse yanked out mine. Awful!
A whole new type and level of pain.
