"Rusty's surgery going as planned. They are keeping me posted throughout. They started at about 8:30. Should take 6 or 7 hours."

My kidney disease resulted in last month's transplant, and there were various things done along the way to ensure success. I have had very good treatment by the docs and other white coats (PAs, ARNPs) and good after care by nurses. I am confident you will do as well based on how you describe your experiences. Have a good flight on "Get Better Airlines".

Just talked to Ruthie, surgery took a little over 8 hours. Due to inflammation they had to give up the robotics and go manually. He stayed stable the whole operation. The surgeon is very happy with the results!

Rusty is in his room now. Ruthie sent me a post op pic. Told her I know he'll recover fast so he can beat my but for posting these pictures. She told him what I said and she said he chuckled.

She just sent me this picture. This looks a lot better than the one I had in this post before. Already got him up in a chair.
