I have a 460 XVR performance model. The one with the non-gain twist barrel 10.5".

I am about to order a Zeiss Z-point. But the catch is, its picatinny rail. Anyone know if it will fit? I know the fluted 12" barrel model is picatinny, but can't figure out if mine is. I think its weaver.

Think the zeiss will hold up?

I was told on my 327 that they are one in the same when ordering my Burris fastfire and it works fine. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Called S&W Customer Service, they informed me its a weaver base on the 10.5" Performance Center versions but is picatinny on the 12.5 fluted versions. I hate it when folks do this.

I wish we would just go with the stardard milspec.

I need help also. My brand new Warne rings will not tighten on the weaver rail on my 460 Performance center. I called Warne, they claim they have seen the rails coming in undersize once in awhile. Any ideas? Warne is sending another set to make sure its not the rings. ***?

I have warne maxima's on my 460PM right now. Fits fine. I would measure the distance between the notches and call customer service.

Now, my 460 was recalled a few years ago and they changed out the barrels. so I don't know.

Ok thanks. I have an email into SW right now, will mic the rail out tonight. The gun is brandnew.

Waiting for Warne to ship me out another set to check. The Tech was very helpful, said to send the old ones back for him to check. On another note, a set Of Weaver rings does fit very well, although these had to be a med height to clear the frame.

New set from Warne fits like a glove. IDK whats up with the old set, sent them back.
