Went to the range again, this time I had my contact slide on the metal frame. Also, put the ML size back strap on the gun. The gun felt like an M&P and was more accurate than I can be. With the back straps that fit my hand better the gun was more controllable. It is definitely a nice shooting gun and I plan to carry this daily. It just replaced my M18 for now.

Sent a 95 ball and 20 HP down range. Not one hiccup. I love the gun in this config.

Also put the metal slide on the compact frame and shot it. Once again flawless but did not send as many rounds down range. A few ball and five or so HP. Don’t plan on carrying that gun yet as it doesn’t have night sights.

One side note, I put the 2.0 back straps on it as the ones that came with the gun are way to aggressive. The 2.0 polymer are less abrasive.

So I am currently in Connecticut visiting my daughter, so I am away from all my guns. Been thinking about putting the metal slide back on and getting a red dot. I just ordered Night fision 311-402 blade height so I am thinking about a red dot.

I will 1/3 co-witness so looking for suggestions. I know their web sight has a few sights that will allow this. I am going to have the sights installed first and see how they are then make a decision about the optic.
