Range Officer Certification (USPSA and Steel Challenge) 10/26 & 10/27/19 Brazil, IN
I am posting this here in an attempt to help get the registrations up for this training event. I am not affiliated with the host range, I am going to be attending the class.
Registration page at the USPSA web site
As you can see there are only 13 people registered.
When you register you will get links to two pre-tests to do online and an online course for using the PractiScore app.
Maybe some folks from neighboring states are interested?
Thanks for reading, hope to see some of you there.

Cost is $50 total and covers both USPSA and SCSA Certifications.
For students wishing to obtain only the Steel Challenge Certification the cost is $30. The Steel Challenge portion will be held on Sunday afternoon starting around 1pm after the USPSA portion is complete. Arrive at the ProTEQ Range between 12:00 and 1pm to sign up.
You must already have a USPSA Range Officer Certification in order to attend only the Steel Challenge portion.
Email us at [email protected] to sign up for the SCSA portion, as USPSA's website does not accomodate for online sign-ups for the SCSA portion by itself.
Day 1 will be a classroom portion to learn the rules of USPSA and SCSA and the responsibilities of a Certified Range Officer.
Day 2 will be on the range at ProTEQ where each student will test their skills as a Range Officer. Some students will need to serve as shooters for people to practice RO'ing. Students are not required to shoot, but are more than welcome to if they'd like.
The SCSA portion will begin after lunch around 1pm. Individuals wishing to obtain their SCSA RO Endorsement should show up around noon or a little after to sign up and pay. Bring a sack lunch both days as we will be dining in. A refrigerator will be available.
We (ProTEQ) are not planning to make money on this event. We are offering it to the community to help grow the sport(s).
The fees collected go to USPSA to pay for the instructor to teach the course, as well as to house and feed the instructor for the duration of his stay. With that being said, donations above the normal course cost are accepted. Thank you.
