I recently posted photos of my Big Boys and, since I picked up my 3913TSW on Friday, I thought I would post photos of it and my other "Compact Kids." So, here they are:

My preowned 3913 has external character marks but sure is accurate.

I took the little 3913TSW out to the range to day. It looks like it shoots Win 115gr a hair to the left and Fed AE 124gr less than a hair to the right. So, since I shoot both loads regularly, the sights are good to go as is.

By the way, it's a real sweet shooter.

Is the 3913TSW a 7 shot 9mm??
Will 3913 mags work in it but hang out slightly?
How does it fit your hands compaired to the Standard 3913?
I bet a 3913 Hogue could be cut to work with the TSW..

Yes, the 3913TSW "Tactical" pre-rail made from 1997-99 is a seven shot. The 3913TSW "9 Tactical Smith & Wesson" made after '99 is an eight shot pistol.

Will 3913 mags work in it but hang out slightly?

Yes.

How does it fit your hands compaired to the Standard 3913?

I'm 6'5" tall with good sized hands. Nonetheless, I've never had trouble with small pistols. I like both my 3913s, they feel good to me. I was surprised today when I shot the TSW. It was very comfortable to shoot. With the seven round magazine, it provides enough room for a good solid grip with my middle and ring finger. My little finger fits right under the magazine base. After all, it's only a 9mm. In 40S&W or .45 ACP, I might not like it as much.

I picked up a 1991 3913NL last weekend & it came with one 7 round magazine with what looks like a M39 floorplate, it fits flush at the bottom, & would be almost exactly the same size as your TSW with the plastic flat bottom..
