Hello All; it was a beautiful day yesterday here in the burg. so i meet my son in law at the club for some fun. He had recently purchased a s&w m&p15t and wanted to try it out. We started out at the 25meter pisto range first. I went thru several mags of federal automatch without a hitch.Now it was time for an accuracy test.At 25meters off hand it was no problem to stay within a 3inch circle. Something i did find out was i seem to favor the buis over the ncstar holosight.Then we decided to go down to the rifle range where he could legally shoot his 5.56x45 [.223].And i of course wanted to see what my little 22lr would do at longer ranges. We started out at 50yards [not meters at the rifle ranges?]He was using some 55g black hills ammo. after a few clicks with the red dot he was consistantly hitting his mark. It was then my turn, i was pleasently surprised that with these 62 year old eyes i was staying within a 6 inch circle off a very casual rest [my shooting bag]. then we went out to a 100 yards. After some adjustment he was hitting his mark pretty well. Then it was my turn. Well i am not one to lie was. I was not doing so well but i did get a few in the bull. after realizing that the 22lr drops about 6 inches or so out that far.After all the shooting the first thing my son in law said was i have to order a cmmg conversion kit.pghrich.
