Range Report 3/13/2010 M&P 15-22

Hi all! Wanted to share mine and my son's experience with this rifle. 600 rounds, 3 fte caused by improper loading of the magazine. Other than that, all went well and rifle is very accurate out of the box with factory sights. Had a Walmart BSA 1x Red Dot scope and after zeroing, was doing 3-4 inch groups as far as the range allowed, I think about 75 ft. Looking forward to going to an outdoor range for more distance shooting. My 14 year old son had a blast and with the price of the ammo, we shot as many as we wanted. This is my gift to my son as he turns 15 this month and he was not disappointed. So far so good, serial# DTM4XXX. No problems so far...

this is the kind of thing i like to see, im still a youngen myself (in some people's eyes) but i always like to see the children getting involved in the shooting. kudos to you and i hope that rifle gives you all plenty of fun times together.
