Got my Shield a few days ago finally got to a range to try it out. Liked the feel wants i got used to it. Those first few shots felt like it was trying to jump out of my hand. Was able to keep pretty good groups at 7 Ft. I did have a few concerns though. I used 3 types of ammo. Federal PPU and Winchester. I did the Winchester first and had 6 FTF or FTE issues. These are the target 180gr. The PPU was flawless it was 180gr HP. I did 50 rounds of the PPU and Winchester. The federal was 165gr but i only did 2 mag's worth of that. Has anyone had similar experiences with the Winchester white boxes not ejecting or feeding correctly. Happened more with the 7rd mag then the 6 round mag. but both had issues but only with the Winchester ammo. 3 of them where in the first mag i tried which was the 7 rd. and then the other 3 were split between the 6 and 7 rd. mags. All 6 occurred with in the first 50 rounds.
I also noticed what i thought was odd strikes on the primers. It occurred on all 3 times of ammo i have attached pictures to show everyone whats happening. Has anyone noticed this is this normal strike marks for the shield or do i need to contact smith? I would check the brass that came with it but im at work at the moment. Just stopped by the range on my lunch break.
The strikes are most visible on the federal ammo in the pictures mostly because of the color in the primer, but it occurred on every round i checked.
