Took my M&P 9c to the range for the first time after installation (by a gunsmith) of the Apex kit. Compared to stock, I am very happy with the crisp break. Before going to the range, I was a bit concerned when dry firing, as it did not feel light enough. My experience with live rounds changed that impression. Now I need more practice to improve my skills.

I also added a Viridian laser/light, really more for effect, and this piece is ready to go for home protection. Took me a while to get it all sorted out, but worth the effort!

If you like the DCAEK kit, you might also like the Apex polymer trigger. When I put in my DCAEK kit, I left in the factory trigger bar spring. That gave me a lighter trigger pull. It was about 4-4.5 lbs. I added the polymer trigger and now my trigger pull is about 3.5 lbs. I am not sure if the new trigger changed the trigger pull (I did not add the sear spring that came with the new trigger pull) or just having more rounds through it did. Though I waited until I had about 700 rounds through it before I made changes. Anyway, long story short, I love my 9c with the modifications listed above.
