A month ago, I didn't own any S&W's and now I have two and I'm quite pleased with both. The little model 63 is a super little shooter and the 547 that I bought off of this forum might just be the perfect 9mm revolver. The 547 I bought is a shooter and I bought for that purpose. I don't have any that I buy to sit in the safe.
All pics are at 12 yards and the 547 targets were shot with Federal Eagle 115 gr FMJ's. In each pic, the target on the right was shot in DA and the target on the left was shot in SA. The one model 63 pic with no ammo pictured was shot with CCI MiniMags, the first pic ammo was Aguila Interceptors (1,470 FPS) & the last pic ammo was CCI Stingers.

I'm a mediocre shot with a handgun but I had a great time shooting both of these wonderful S&W revolvers.

PS: I realize that my model 63 goes in his section & my 547 doesn't but they're here together.

S&W Revolvers the 63 22lr and 547 9mm

Congratulations on acquiring two very nice S&W Revolvers.

Ever since I found out about the S&W 547 9mm Revolver,
I'm going to find one and buy it. The 547 just intrigues me.

The Craftsmanship and how the Extractor was made, how
it grips the 9mm cartridge rim is very interesting.

I think the 547 is just another fine example of S&W Artwork.

Nice shooting. Thank you so much for sharing your Range
Report and Pictures.
